Music is a vital and awesome Ministry at Blessed Sacrament Church.  We need members who can make a commitment to altenhancing our worship with their gifts of song.  Be a part of praising the Lord as only music-makers can! 

*Be sure to check calendar for practice dates and times.

Adult Choir:  Practices every Wednesday from 7:30-9 p.m. (except during the summer).  Sing at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday Mass and occasionally for other special occasions such as Confirmation, Communion, etc.  Open to High School age and older.

Contemporary Choir:  Practices once or twice a month on Tuesdays from 7-8 p.m.  We sing at the Saturday, 5:30 p.m. Mass following the practice and occassionally for other special occasions. Open to those who love to sing – grades 7 and above.

Cantors:  Those who have a good voice and feel confident in a leadership role at Mass are welcome to join in.  Practice is at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, before Adult Choir practice.

Instrumentalists:  Play an instrument? Want to share that gift?  Call and let’s see what we can do about getting started!

altBlessed Sacrament Choristers:  Open to students in Grades 3-8. We sing at the Children’s Christmas Mass and on Palm Sunday. There will be 5 required practices before each mass.


Little People’s Choir: Open to children age 4 to Grade 2. We’ll sing at the Thanksgiving and Valentine's day morning masses.  There are three 30 minute practices before each mass.

Bell Choir:  Open to children in Grades 4-6. We’ll play at the Children’s Christmas Mass and at First Communion. There will be 5 practices before each mass.

 

First Communion Choir:  Open to first communicants and their siblings.  There is one rehearsal – after a First Communion practice.

 

Spot Choir: Open to children in Grades 1-8. We sing once a month at the 5:30 p.m. Saturday mass. There will be 1 practice at 4:30 p.m. the day of the mass.
